Earlier last month we met Jessica + Milton in San Francisco for a fun engagement shoot at multiple locations. We started at the Ferry Building (which has a Farmers Market on the weekends), then Downtown SF, The Legion of Honor, and finally Lands End on the west coast of the city. This was our last Engagement Shoot for 2014 and it was a truly beautiful one. Enjoy!
We had a lovely time in San Juan Bautista with the Broberg Family and their three beautiful children. The weather was perfect and the resulting photos from their shoot are vibrant and full of energy!
On a beautifully warm September day, surrounded by their closest family and friends, Sylvia and Chhakda celebrated their lovely wedding and partied the day away. Their ceremony at Saratoga’s Hakone Gardens and reception at Santa Clara’s Kona Kai were amazing in many ways, and perfect examples of their loving union.
For their engagement session, Sylvia and Chhakda’s wanted to stay local in and around the San Jose area. Thus, we started at the Crema Coffee Roasting Company, then went over to the Naglee Avenue Rose Garden, Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, and finally Downtown San Jose. Sylvia and Chhakda were great in front of the camera and fun to hang out with; as a result, we came away with plenty of beautiful and lively shots. Here are a few for you to enjoy:
A few weeks ago we got the chance to hang out with the adorable Shirani Family, and fit in a mini-session in San Juan Bautista – one of our favorite bay area towns to visit and shoot at. We put up with some crazy hot weather that day, but the results of the session are […]
Angie and David are a very sweet couple with great family and friends, who really know how to let loose and celebrate a wedding. We were really excited to photograph their Crystal Springs Golf Club wedding, in Burlingame, California. Their ceremony took place at a beautiful hillside gazebo overlooking Half-Moon Bay, and a reception lunch followed at the Crystal Springs Banquet Hall.
Angie wasn’t sure we would have time for an engagement shoot. Her fiance, David was only going to be in town for one week before their wedding. David is currently serving our country in the Army, and is stationed in Augusta, Georgia. Our window of time was really tight, but we ultimately agreed about the importance of a separate engagement shoot and we scheduled it a few day before. It wound up being a really great idea and they both had a lot of fun. We started off at the world famous Caffe Trieste (est. 1956), in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco – the site of their first date. We then explored the surrounding areas as well as Chinatown. The results were beautiful and full of energy:
We absolutely loved Tali and Adam’s rustic vintage brunch reception wedding at the Dream Inn, in Santa Cruz, California. The weather could not have been more perfect. Tali and Adam were super cool and relaxed. Everything from Tali’s bridal dress, crown and bouquet, to their details and decorations were elegant and exquisitely organized. We also loved all the heartfelt speeches by their friends and family. But the kicker came at the end, when everyone walked down from the hotel to the beach boardwalk and rode the cool 1911 hand-carved Looff Carousel. A lovely ending to a beautiful wedding!
Tallie was Sepideh’s hair stylist when we got married and she’s so nice, we’ve kept in touch ever since. Of course when she asked us to design her wedding invites and do her engagement and wedding photography, we jumped at the chance. Here are a few photographs from our really fun shoot in San Jose […]
Wardrobe and styling are very important for photo shoots. We recommend you select wardrobes that showcase your personality. The more effort you put into styling, the better your photos will turn out. CLOTHING In general, it’s better to stick to solid colors and keep stripes and patterns to a minimum, as they tend to distract […]
